"It's not hard to make decisions once you know what your values are."

Here are the themes that I continue to obsess with and embrace in life. Will keep revisiting the list with more experiences in life.

On Ethical Behavior

Have no tolerance for intentionally unethical behavior in yourself or others. You know when your motivations are fueled by something insidious. You will feel tempted to act unethically numerous times - this is fine, accept the feeling as human nature - but do not act on it. The definition of ethical is relative and variable, but a good guidance is the motivation behind the action.

On Responsibility

Take your own decision and be responsible to them - professionally, personally, and emotionally.

Stay loyal to your commitments - Whether the commitment is to yourself or to someone else, take each promise you make seriously to ensure that you are not the one causing unnecessary distrust. Follow through on your commitments with thoughtful actions.

Strive for - dependability, reliability, and trustworthiness.

Underpromise, Overdeliver - Don't make promises you can't keep. Understand that overcommitting and not delivering leads to losing trust. Value Trust.

Close The Loop - Always follow up. Do what you say you will.

On Respect

Have a base level of respect for each and every person, regardless of their status, wealth, success, knowledge, or lack thereof. Grant this liberally.

Give, give, give, give, give, get

Add as much value as you can prior to making an “ask.” Play the long game.

On Learning

Be endlessly curious. Improve every day. Learn new skills and refine the existing ones. Do not shy away from difficulties. Do not give up on new skills without spending at least 20 hours learning them. Ask yourself -

-If not you, then who?

-If them, then why can't you?

"You’ve to be eager to learn new things. That eagerness turns into a drive, drive turns into habits. Habits turn into results."

However, even after trying your best, if it is being difficult, drop it. Understand your limitations and predispositions. Do not cater to your ego.
